ISLAMIC MOVEMENTS: RELIGION AND WOMEN IN MUSLIM SOCIETIES

This paper has the aim of analyzing how religion and women in Islamic society are studied and examined with a qualitative approach that is a literature study. Islam emphasizes that men are protectors of women. Men and women are given by Allah SWT strength and professionalism to complement each other. Physical advantages of male and female reproductive organs should not be understood as pros and cons, but they must all be dictated to carry out their functions proportionally. There is no difference between the two in terms of the possibilities that humans and men and women have conceptually. Since the beginning of creation, women have occupied the same status as men. When Allah commands men, it also applies to women. On the other hand, when Allah commands something to women, it also applies to men. Women in Islamic societies and communities face gender inequalities in the so-called 'patriarchal gender system'.
